When I first started @Aviary, I planned to be completely transparent about the company’s progress with everyone: employees, users and total strangers.
I understood that traditionally, early startups were in complete stealth mode and closed about their plans and progress.
That seemed silly to me.
Welcome to me. Who am I?
First and foremost: Family man with an incredible wife and two remarkable boys - Milan is 5 and Jaden is 7.
I live in Boulder, CO, quite possibly the most livable city in the U.S.A. (Haven't been around the world enough to be so bold to say in the world), but 300 days of sunshine, 1.5 hours from world class skiing, unbelievable dining and nightlife, a true college town and the kind of sports oriented, liberal lifestyle I love is all here.
When I'm not working or playing with the family, my passions revolve around sports. These days, that mostly means mountain biking, skiing and softball.
When I am working, I am the Vice President, Sales and Marketing for PhoCusWright - the travel industry research authority on the evolving dynamics that influence how travelers, suppliers and intermediaries connect. Truly an awesome job, being in the center of the online travel universe.
